Functions
1.Differential modulated IR height sensor.The sensor detects the target height by looking for reflected light from two separate LEDs to be equal.The two leds are positioned in such a way that the reflective light in the sensor at slightly different heights.Thanks to this, the sensor can be used in most bed areas.
2.High degree of resistance to sunlight, incandescent artificial light and other infrared sources.
3.Unlike capacitive and inductive sensors, the sensor measures the height to the upper surface of the glass bed, not the distance to the back plate.
4.The red LED indicates when the head is at or below the target height.Small size, ideal for use where space is limited, for example under the effect of a deltaprinter.
5.Version 1.1 board is 24mm wide, but only 18mm high, small enough to fit below the heat sink of the original E3Dv6 hot end.Automatic selection of 4-level analog output for the electronics printer that support it (e.G Duet), or digital output for other electronics printers.
